For 2024, RacePro will be providing event management support to the Kansanshi Marathon.

The Kansanshi Marathon was pioneered by RacePro’s managing director, Ryan Ellis. It made history as the first Zambian marathon to be world accredited in the North-West Province, and the largest inaugural ZAAA running event.

Kansanshi Marathon attracted participants from countries such as Kenya, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, making this a truly international event and we look forward to seeing the event grow each year. The event features ZAAA and World Athletics accredited 42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 km run races.

In 2023 the Kansanshi Marathon recorded the fastest half marathon ever seen on Zambian soil! This event is also a qualifier for the 2025 edition of the Comrades Marathon.
